I joined the Springfield Middle School faculty in the fall of 2003. I currently teach 5th grade mathematics. I also coach 7th grade field hockey, 8th grade basketball and 7th grade softball.
I am so happy to be part of the Springfield School District and proud to work with such esteemed colleagues!
This website will be useful for you to stay informed in the daily happenings here at SMS, particularly now you can learn what is going on in each of our classrooms!
The Class Links at the left will help you navigate through the various pages in my website and other links that are important school and district pages.
To the right you will find links to the Math websites where you can access homework help and other useful information about the math programs.
Your child can seek additional math help from me at the following times:
During tutorial periods- the last period of the school day (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday)
Recess- (Days 1,3,4,6)
Before school between 7:30 am and 8:10 am. (Please make contact in advance if your child plans to come in before school to be sure I am available.)
Note: Help sessions are for students who need help from time to time; if a student needs help often or on a regular basis, an outside tutor is more appropriate.

Personal Tidbits:
I have 1 daughter and 4 sons ranging in age from 18 to 25. Two have graduated-PSU and Utica College. Three are currently working on degrees-
Kutztown University, Marywood University and Bucks County Community College. My daughter will be finishing her Master's Degree in Student Affairs at Holy Family University this spring.
In my spare time I enjoy listening to country music, reading, and horseback riding. (Not necessarily at same time of course!)
